HOW IT WORKS

GROUP OR PRIVATE?

We offer both personal and group training. Unlike other gyms, our small group strength classes really are small with a maximum of 6 people. The size of our classes mean you can get a tailored and private coaching experience while training with like-minded women.

Nutrition is hard before you add children or a career into the mix. This is why each clients journey with nutrition will look different. By tailoring our advice and methods to your lifestyle, we can make sustainable changes and get you to your goals faster.

We want women to feel supported in their journey, which is why the coaching doesn't stop at training & nutrition. We also; have regularly updated client resources, meet for walks once per month, have Muay Thai and Pilates available, and make check-ins a priority.

  • What makes MWF different?
    We are different because we take the science and make it work for your lifestyle, not the other way round. We understand that training consistently is hard enough before you add; a career, kids, hormones, menopause, or period to the mix. We hear you when you say meal prep just isn't an option with your long work hours or kid's sport. MWF is focused on giving you the tools to make the science work for you, no matter when or how often your circumstances and goals change.
  • What will my first month look like?
    This varies from person to person, based on goals and previous experience. Generally your first month will include all of this: - You'll try your first class and we'll get to know you a little better. - We will talk about your goals and exactly what you're looking to get out of your training. - You'll get a copy of all our client resources (Nutrition handbook, training handbook, meal prep guide). - We'll set you up with your training tracker so we can keep an eye on your progress. - Depending on your goals, we'll do some initial measurements, go over some basic nutritional guidance, and set some nutritional targets. - We'll check in at least once per week, face to face, to ensure you're getting everything you need.
  • Is there a minimum commitment?
    We only ask for 7 days notice for cancellations. Given how personal all of our sessions are, it would be pretty uncomfortable if someone didn't want to be there. If you don't think we are the right fit then we want you to move on as fast as possible to find what does work for you.
  • What does the class schedule look like?
    Group classes run each day, except Sunday. PT sessions can be booked anytime a class isn't running.
  • Is it just weight lifting? Or cardio as well?
    Our classes are strength focused, and stay right away from burpees and box jumps. If you're looking for traditional cardio, we can help you plan cardio based training to compliment your weight lifting. If you're interested in cardio from a fat loss perspective, it might be a good idea to look into the benefits of strength training in combination with nutritional changes for body composition changes.
  • Can I come and try it out?
    There will always be room for you to come and try it out. While we don't offer free trials, we do allow clients to jump into a session before signing up. If you're not quite ready to try a class, we have heaps of free advice on our Instagram and Blog.
